Juanita Jordan has been a RTAC Director for 17 years.  During this time, she served on many of our committees and found her calling on the Legislative Committee where she worked with RTAC’s Legislative Advocates to make sure that any pending legislation was favorable for all retired educators. She regularly visited with our Illinois legislators in Springfield and visited the offices of our Federal Senators and Representatives.  Juanita was instrumental in spreading the word about the disastrous effect Amendment 49 could have on our pensions.  Although her first priority was always the protection and enhancement of all retired educators she is focused on educating Illinois legislators on pension issues, securing CPS' annual payment to CTPF, and increasing RTAC's membership.
