Patrick M. Keating Sr. joined RTAC in 2012 following an innovative CPS career which concluded with his 17-year tenure as principal of Dirksen Elementary. He became an RTAC Director in 2018. During the 2024-2025 biennium he served as RTAC's Second Vice President. Patrick chaired RTAC's Legislative Committee and went to Springfield to advocate on behalf of increasing the State of Illinois' contribution to our CTPF health insurance subsidy. He has also shared valuable insights regarding wealth management with the RTAC Finance Committee. He has shared perspectives gained on budgets and organizational leadership from his experiences as a consultant at the Illinois State Board of Education and his professorship at Northeastern Illinois University.
